We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Geriatric Medicine Doctor to join our teamAs a Geriatric Medicine Doctor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to elderly patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic conditions. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient. Your expertise and experience in geriatric care will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being and independence of our elderly patients.Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical assessments and diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in elderly patients
- Develop and oversee individualized care plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, needs, and preferences
- Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as arthritis, dementia, and heart disease in geriatric patients
- Prescribe and adjust medication as needed
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding proper self-care, medication management, and other geriatric health concerns
- Keep accurate and detailed medical records of patient care
- Stay updated with advancements and best practices in geriatric medicine
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state medical license and board certification in Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Geriatric Medicine
- Excellent understanding of geriatric health issues, including chronic conditions and age-related changes
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
