Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting detailed site investigations, analyzing soil and rock mechanics, and providing recommendations for construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of geotechnical projects and contribute to the success of our clients.Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations to assess geotechnical conditions
- Perform and analyze soil and rock mechanics laboratory tests
- Develop geotechnical design recommendations for construction projects
- Prepare technical reports and presentations
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are incorporated into designs and plans
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics principles
- Proficient in using geotechnical software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in conducting geotechnical investigations and field testing
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
