Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Geoconsultant Proposal Manager to join our team. The Geoconsultant Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the development and submission of high-quality proposals for geotechnical and geological consulting services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering or a related field, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in developing winning proposals for consulting projects. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and track upcoming geoconsulting-related proposal opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline and proposal calendar. Collaborate with the business development, technical, and subject matter expert teams to understand client requirements, scope of work, and the company's capabilities. Develop and implement a structured proposal management process, including proposal strategy, timeline, and resource planning. Coordinate the proposal team, including writers, geotechnical/geological experts, and supporting functions, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposal content. Review and provide feedback on proposal drafts, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with client requirements, and alignment with the company's value proposition. Manage the proposal review and approval process, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and subject matter experts. Ensure proposals adhere to all formatting, branding, and submission requirements specified by the client. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and challenges. Analyze proposal performance, capture lessons learned, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the company's proposal capabilities. Provide training and mentorship to the proposal team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in proposal management, business development, or client-facing roles in the geoconsulting or engineering industry. Proven track record of developing and submitting successful, high-value proposals for geotechnical and geological consulting services. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent proposals. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of geotechnical and geological principles, methodologies, and applications. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling and persuasive narratives. Proficient in proposal development tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management platforms. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build consensus among stakeholders. Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to geotechnical and geological consulting operations.
