General Technician
Job Description
The technician maintains and repairs all aspects of the hotel's wood work and furniture in accordance with the standards to achieve optimum product quality at all times.
Repair and maintenance of door locks, door closer and sliding door mechanisms;
Repair of metal framed cupboards, showcases, doors and windows;
Executes construction works including partitions and false ceilings;
Carries out minor repair work related to painting and decorating;
Responds to a guest maintenance request within 15 minutes of receipt of the same;
2 years experience in maintenance and repair of industrial type kitchen maintenance equipment in a 5 star hotel or a large industrial food production unit;
Certificate in engineering or equivalent;
Demonstrates knowledge of techniques, skills, equipment, procedures and materials;
Ensures that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair;
Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guestroom or public
With experience as technician in hospitality industry
Ability to communicate in English
Willing to work in shifting schedule and public holidays
