- Performs the tasks assigned to him and to the highest standards ensures their implementation while working independently.
- Acts on issues and concerns in his activity field immediately.
- Must be able to control the stocks and other items in his workshop and order more as required.
- Abides to the daily task and ensures timely implementation.
- Checks extra needs of a guest.
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
- Ensures oneself is thoroughly familiar with the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur.
- Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Technical Certification or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or technical roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other departments and ensure seamless operations.
