General Practitioner
Job Description
Physicians who diagnose, treat, and help prevent common diseases and injuries. They may refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment.
• The GP does not have admission privileges and will transfer care to a Specialist or Consultant when admission or hospital transfer is required.
• They are expected to work within the various rules, regulations and guidelines of the Section and Department in which they work.
• When going off duty, they will therefore ensure that the process of handover is carried out appropriate to the patient's requirements
• They will maintain confidentiality in all matters according to the policy of the MOH.
• They will contribute to the teaching of nurses, other personnel, patients and their care takers and the public as needed.
Qualifications:
• Arabic/English Speaking
• MBBS Degree
• Current and valid medical license. (MOH License or Eligibility)
• Fresher or experience as a General Practitioner in UAE
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication.
• Dedication to evidence-based and patient-centered care.
• Knowledge about insurance
