Job TitleGeneral NurseBusinessENOCJob PurposeTo assist the Occupational Health Nurses in providing clinical nursing services as part of ongoing health evaluations and health education programs in OHSC. To provide direct patient care and will perform clinical activities using the scientific process of nursing.Principal AccountabilitiesTo help promote the objectives of OHSC by performing in a caring, courteous, confidential, and competitive manner towards clients according to the expected standards in order to meet the patient care demands.Participation in providing nursing care, health maintenance, teaching, counselling, collaborative planning within the parameters of his/her education and experience under the supervision of SOHN and HOHN.Assessment of client\'s basic health status (vital signs), medical records and related health data.Demonstrate skill in coordination and planning of care and prioritize action based on individual needs and business unit requirements.Perform nursing intervention and procedures in accordance with established standards of care and policy procedures.Delivery of safe and appropriate nursing practice according to standards of healthcare and in line with the internal policies and procedures.Collaborate, cooperate and communicate with other health providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.Participate in the health teaching required by the individual so as to maintain an optimal level of healthcare.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to keep pace with the most recent advancements and current knowledge in the field.Ensures adequate stock of medical consumables and clinic supplies to ensure in-date consumables are available when required.Communicates with relevant parties (clients and suppliers) to ensure effective service delivery.Any other task or related activities specified and delegated by the Sr. OHN and Head Occupational Health Nurse.Additional Principal AccountabilitiesExperienceCertified Nurse, qualified at a recognised training establishmentLicensed to practice as Registered Nurse (DHA)At least 3 years experience in nursingBasic computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft office applications)Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software applicationsGood communication in English language and with appropriate interpersonal skillsIn-depth knowledge of health and safety measures, with valid BLS certificate
