The General Manager is responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth, and profitability of the online travel agency (OTA). This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of the online travel industry, technology, and consumer behavior. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the business, from product development and marketing to operations and customer service.

Responsibilities:

? Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the OTA's long-term vision, mission, and goals. Conduct market analysis, identify growth opportunities, and define the company's competitive positioning.

? Business Development: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rentals, etc.) to secure competitive rates and inventory. Identify new business opportunities and explore potential acquisitions or partnerships.

? Product Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of the OTA's product offerings, including user interface, search functionality, and mobile applications. Ensure a seamless and user-friendly customer experience.

? Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to drive traffic, increase conversions, and maximize revenue. Manage brand reputation and customer acquisition efforts.

? Technology and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Drive the adoption of technology to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and gain a competitive advantage.

? Financial Management: Develop and manage the OTA's budget. Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement cost-saving measures.

? Team Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performance team across various departments (technology, marketing, sales, customer service, operations). Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer focus.

? Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey. Implement customer feedback mechanisms and drive continuous improvement.

? Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business, including operational, financial, and reputational risks. Develop contingency plans.

? Governance

Requirements:

? Proven track record in the online travel industry with a deep understanding of the OTA business model.

? Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

? Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

? Experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, and technology.

? Strong financial acumen and business management skills.

? Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

? Experience with data analysis and performance metrics.

? Proficiency in using travel industry technology platforms and systems.

? Understanding of online advertising and search engine optimization (SEO).

? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

? Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
