General Manager Sales (offshore/subsea)PURPOSE:As the General Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving our sales and operations in the Middle East, particularly in Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Your mission will be to lead our sales team, expand our market share, and strengthen our relationships with key clients. You will also play a critical role in shaping and executing our business strategy in the region.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Leadership: Spearhead sales efforts to acquire new customers and grow existing accounts, driving revenue and brand presence in the Middle East.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies that enhance market share and brand visibility.
Account & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 EPCs and NOCs, as well as distributors and other key stakeholders.
Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales and operations team in the region.
Operational & Financial Oversight: Ensure efficient operations and manage the P&L for the Middle East business unit.
Take full responsibility for the financial performance of the regional business unit, with support from the Group finance team, ensuring profitability and financial health. Under Company\'s supervision, this role carries signatory responsibility on regional banking facilities (KSA, UAE), including payment approval in line with company Financial Controls. GM is the named individual in region for responsibility of VAT returns and corporate tax returns and statutory account filling which are completed by company finance team with support from local accounting service providers in KSA and UAE.
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Background: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or a related field.
Industry Experience: Extensive experience in B2B industrial sales, particularly within the Oil & Gas and Marine Civil markets in the Middle East.
Proven Track Record: At least 10 years of successful sales management experience, with a strong network across the Middle East.
Leadership: Experience in leading and developing teams in the UAE or broader Middle East.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Offshore, Marine & Subsea cable markets, and subsea pipeline protection systems.
Cultural Acumen: Deep understanding of the Middle East market and culture, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Negotiation Skills: A talented negotiator who can balance creativity and flexibility with a strong focus on profitability.
