The position is based in Dubai reporting to Corporate Vice President of Business Area Middle East, Africa, and CIS (BAMEAC).Your coaching and innovative mindset are instrumental in bringing our products through to the patients, in a compliant way!The positionAs General Manager and Vice President, you will drive the strategic leadership and set direction and priorities to drive business performance, improvement, and growth, in alignment with Novo Nordisk's corporate strategy.By combining a strong commercial mindset and business understanding, you can develop innovative solutions and strategies while providing guidance and direction to the team. You will set the stage for a future-fit organisation that encompasses both short-term and long-term goals.Through your extensive leadership experience, you will maintain and nurture an existing culture of engagement and high performance where people are empowered to take decisions and where there's a high sense of belonging driven by purpose and employee experience.You will be head up a cross-functional team of various departments and Business Units such as: Obesity, Rare Disease, Diabetes, Finance, Clinical Medical Regulatory & Pharmacovigilance and Legal, Ethics, Compliance & Quality, and People & Organisation, where effective communication, collaboration and best practice sharing is at the forefront.Qualifications
  • You have a degree qualification coupled with significant experience in pharmaceutical industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous GM experience from pharmaceutical, healthcare industry would be preferred and important consideration in decision making. Combined with a proven track record heading up sizable sales organizations are required to be successful in this role.
  • Bringing significant business experience from the healthcare industry in the Middle East Region, is seen as highly beneficial.
  • As a seasoned people leader, you are investing in developing your employees and support their growth. You are comfortable with multicultural environment, you create a collaborative, inclusive culture, you empower, and foster diversity, and encourage innovation.
  • You are a commercially savvy business executive, an excellent communicator, and analytical thinker experienced developing and implementing strategies.
