We have an amazing opportunity for a General Manager to support our Saudi Office within our EAME Distribution team. In this role you will contribute significantly to our organization's success through your expertise and proactive service. You will provide leadership to Caterpillar Arabia Limited operations in Saudi Arabia, and assistance to the Middle East Director of Distribution, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. You will cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration. You will thrive in a dynamic setting, where adaptability and quick decision-making and execution of agreed upon actions are essential. Your agility will contribute directly to our company's overall efficiency.
EAME Distribution's mission is to deliver superior customer experience, profitable market leadership and services growth through industry-best distribution performance. We provide governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the Middle East, Eurasia, Europe, and Africa.
Role Definition: Leads development and execution of the mid to long-term business development strategy with the business partners in a given territory or market.
Responsibilities:
Leads cross-functional collaboration with business partners across the organization and outside consultants to gain industry trends and collect voice of the customer and voice of the business to propose ideas for business growth.
Manages metrics, dashboards and supporting management tools in place to monitor performance and develop processes to increase sales.
Planning and directing all projects viewed as critical to department and the enterprise.
Gather information and assess the market including competitive issues, market dynamics, market service needs and the company position in the industry by securing a leadership role within the trade associations, technical bodies, and schools particular to this sector.
Qualifications / Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12-15 years of proven experience, with extensive expertise working within Saudi Arabia and a strong understanding of local nuances. They must possess exceptional communication skills, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving objectives. A self-starter with a proven track record in industries such as Energy, Oil & Gas, and Construction, the candidate should exhibit strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities, along with the ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions. Must be fluent in Arabic and English.
Travel requirements - 50% domestic and international

Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
