General Manager Insurance Brockerage
Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic planning, and business development of the insurance brokerage firm. The role requires a deep understanding of the insurance industry in UAE, regulatory compliance, and effective management skills. The person will oversee day-to-day operations of the insurance brokerage, including underwriting, claims processing, and client services, Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the brokerage's client base and market share.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications/ ACII
• Minimum 10 year UAE experience in Insurance/ Insurance brokerage activities
• Proven leadership experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a managerial role within an insurance brokerage.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and market trends.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve financial targets.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management and compliance.
• Proficient in using relevant software and technology for insurance operations.
