: General Manager - Facade and Aluminum

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Facade and Aluminum to lead and oversee our facade and aluminum operations. This role combines strategic business development with technical expertise in estimation and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality facade and aluminum solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development :

• Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategies to expand business opportunities, increase market share, and drive revenue growth in the facade and aluminum sector.
• Client Acquisition : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and secure new projects.
• Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business growth.

Estimation and Cost Management :

• Cost Estimation : Oversee the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for facade and aluminum projects, including materials, labor, and installation.
• Budget Management : Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial objectives.

Project Management :

• Project Oversight : Manage the execution of facade and aluminum projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of designers, estimators, and project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Operational Excellence :

• Process Improvement : Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure that all projects meet company standards and client expectations for quality, safety, and performance.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement :

• Client Relations : Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Communication : Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Financial Oversight :

• Financial Reporting : Monitor and report on financial performance, including project profitability, cost tracking, and budget adherence.
• Risk Management : Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks to safeguard the company's interests.

Compliance and Regulation :

• Regulatory Adherence : Ensure that all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Health and Safety : Promote and enforce health and safety standards across all project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in facade and aluminum projects, including at least 5 years in a senior management role with business development responsibilities.
• Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of facade and aluminum systems, cost estimation, project management, and industry standards.
• Business Development : Proven track record in business development, including client acquisition, market analysis, and revenue growth.
• Leadership : Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Software Proficiency : Familiarity with industry-standard software for design, estimation, and project management (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam).
