General Manager Bonded Zones & Strategic Developments Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Experience: 10-12 years of experience in Kingdoms logistics development with active engagement with various public policy related matters Education: Bachelors degree in business and/or Logistics; Masters preferred Languages: Bilingual - English and Arabic (mandatory)

Established to enhance and streamline logistics operations within the region, the company operates the largest bonded and re-export zone in the Kingdom, located in Jeddah. The company offers a wide range of services including warehousing, transportation, and value-added services tailored to meet the needs of various industries. By leveraging advanced technology and strategic locations, the company aims to facilitate efficient trade flows and contribute to Saudi Arabia's vision of becoming a global logistics hub. The company's comprehensive service portfolio and strategic approach make it a key player in the region's logistics sector. About the Job Role: The role plays an integral part in developing, conceptualizing, and managing Company's presence in bonded and special economic zones. The key responsibility is to position and expand Company's position as the developer of choice for new bonded and special economic zones in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through extensive engagement with relevant authorities including Ministry of Transport & Logistics Services, Saudi Customs, Saudi Ports Authority, General Authority of Civil Aviation etc. Day-to-day role involves monitoring of contracts between the Company and Government authorities, improve Companys services to its clients by maintaining effective channels of communications with relevant stakeholders. The role requires awareness and understanding of international best practices in Bonded / Special Economic Zones and Logistics Real estate; changes and trends that might impact the company now or in the future, in-depth understanding of various regulatory requirements, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships

Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities Governmental Authorities: Develop and execute affairs strategies to promote our organization's goals and objectives in development of new bonded and special economic zones. Engage in coalition building and partnership development with other organizations and industry groups to amplify our advocacy efforts. Represent our organization at meetings, hearings, and other relevant events to ensure our voice is heard and our concerns are addressed. Maintain the relationship with the Government Authorities to facilitate the regulatory services required and to ensure the delivery of Companys operations and developments. Initiate and maintain effective communication channels with government agencies and identify the advantageous changes and trends impact that might occur due to changes of government policies. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and other materials to effectively communicate our organization's positions and priorities to government officials and other stakeholders. Update the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the concerned departments based on the business needs to ensure accuracy and on time delivery of the governmental service requirements and obligations. Develop and maintain a vibrant network within government & private sector to promote company facilities and developments, so that company is established as a partner of choice for development / operations of key projects. Initiate and implement zones annual operation plan, and KPIs to ensure business continuity and achieve departments target and company's strategic objectives. Customer:

Resolve major internal conflicts and customer disputes, as well as issues with government matters. Establish multi-level relationships with the key customers to better analyze the customer requirements and growth plans. Develop SLAs along with reporting departments to generate new and improved revenue streams Department Management: Manage the performance of the team through monitoring the KPIs achievement, coaching, following up any obstacles, provide performance feedback and conversations, coaching etc. to ensure the achievement of the set objectives. Update the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the concerned departments based on the business needs to ensure accuracy and on time delivery of the governmental service requirements and obligations. Initiate and be a champion for Sustainability efforts and measurements. Launch Sustainability drives to ensure that company developments are in line with world class facilities Competencies: Strong knowledge of government processes, legislative and regulatory frameworks, and public policy issues. Team player and a strong communicator & collaborator Proven experience in developing and implementing successful engagement development strategies.
