Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced General Foreman with expertise in all construction elements, particularly residential projects, to lead and manage on-site construction activities. The General Foreman plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the construction process runs smoothly, directly contributing to the successful and timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

:

Site Supervision

: Manage daily operations on-site, ensuring construction tasks are completed according to plans, specifications, and project timelines.

Team Leadership

: Lead, coordinate, and motivate a team of workers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Project Coordination

: Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and manpower, keeping the project on schedule.

Quality Control

: Monitor work quality at every stage, identifying and resolving issues promptly to maintain high standards.

Safety Compliance

: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and ensure the worksite remains safe for all personnel at all times.

Problem-Solving

: Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site, ranging from technical challenges to personnel conflicts.

Documentation and Reporting

: Maintain daily logs, track progress, and report on project developments, potential risks, delays, or issues to senior management.

Qualifications

:

Proven Experience in the Construction Industry

Must have 5-10 years of experience in construction, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in various trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry) is an advantage.

Experience in Site Supervision

Hands-on experience in managing day-to-day operations on construction sites is critical. The General Foreman must have a solid understanding of all construction phases, from planning to execution. Experience overseeing multiple construction phases, from site preparation and foundation work to finishing and project handover, is essential.
