Reporting directly to the CEO, your collaboration with executive leadership will be crucial in navigating complex legal issues, mitigating risks, and driving the Company\'s objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLegal Compliance and Corporate GovernanceEnsure the Company complies with all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale and distribution of electric vehicles in the MENA region.Oversee the corporate governance function of the Company, including serving as the secretary of the board of directors.Advise the Board of Directors and executive leadership on corporate governance matters, including board composition, director responsibilities, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.Risk ManagementIdentify, assess and mitigate legal risks that could impact the Company\'s reputation, financial standing or operational efficiency.Develop proactive strategies to minimise exposure to legal liabilities.Contract Negotiation and ManagementOversee the negotiation, drafting and review of a wide range of contracts, agreements and legal documents including, but not limited to, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, after-sales and services contracts, property leases, employment agreements, formation of new entities and strategic partnerships.Litigation and Dispute ResolutionManage all aspects of litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings involving the Company.Work closely with external legal counsel to develop effective defence strategies and resolve disputes promptly and cost-effectively.Government Relations and Stakeholder RelationsMonitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the automotive industry and advocate for the Company\'s interests with government agencies, industry associations and other stakeholders.Qualifications & Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience practising law, focusing on corporate and commercial transactions in the automotive industry in the UAE.
• Proven track record of providing strategic legal advice to senior executives and managing complex legal matters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics and professionalism.
• Occasional travel may be required.
