Job Description

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas within a building or facility. This includes performing a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, and adhering to established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors and surfaces.

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms (including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors).

Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling.

Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.

Wiping down and disinfecting surfaces such as desks, countertops, and equipment.

Cleaning and maintaining break rooms or kitchen areas

Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment (e.g., floor buffers, vacuum cleaners).

Restocking Supplies:

Refilling soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet paper dispensers.

Replenishing cleaning supplies as needed.

Maintenance and Upkeep:

Identifying and reporting maintenance issues (e.g., broken equipment, leaks, or safety hazards) to the appropriate personnel.

Performing minor maintenance tasks as assigned (e.g., changing light bulbs).

Security and Safety:

Securing buildings and areas, locking doors and windows.

Following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Other Duties:

May perform other duties as assigned, such as moving furniture, setting up for events, or assisting with other tasks.

May require working independently or as part of a team.

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
