Responsibilities:
• Cash Handling :
• Receive and process cash, checks, and credit card payments.
• Ensure all cash is accurately counted and recorded.
• Financial Reporting :
• Prepare daily cash reports, summarizing cash receipts and disbursements.
• Reconcile cash and credit card transactions with the accounting system.
• Deposit Management :
• Prepare bank deposits and ensure timely delivery to the bank.
• Maintain an accurate record of all deposits.
• Record Keeping :
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• File and organize financial paperwork for easy retrieval.
• Internal Controls :
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and hotel policies regarding cash handling.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to management immediately.
• Collaboration :
• Work closely with the accounting department and other hotel departments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist in audits and respond to inquiries regarding cash transactions
• Customer Service :
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any guest inquiries related to payments and transactions.
• Resolve any cash-related issues with guests professionally.
