Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial administrative support to various departments within the company, with a particular focus on assisting with real estate development projects and interacting with government entities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of high-impact projects and collaborate with talented professionals in the industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to project managers, executives, and other team members as needed. This includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining organized filing systems.
2. Government Relations: Interface with government entities at the local, state, and federal levels to obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory documentation for development projects. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures.
3. Document Management: Manage and maintain important documents, contracts, permits, and other legal paperwork related to real estate development projects. Ensure all documentation is accurately filed and easily accessible for reference.
4. Communications: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and relaying messages in a timely manner. Facilitate communication between team members and external partners as needed.
5. Office Operations: Assist with various office operations tasks, such as ordering supplies, coordinating equipment maintenance, and organizing company events or meetings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Familiarity with government regulations and processes related to real estate development, including permitting and zoning requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be fluent in Chinese and English.
