Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions

Prepare budget forecasts

Publish financial statements on time

Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Ensure timely bank payments

Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

Report on the company's financial health and liquidity

Audit financial transactions and documents

Petty Cash Management

Handle petty cash responsibly.

Ensure timely deposits of cash and checks into the company's bank account.

Maintain sufficient bank balances to cover all anticipated payments.

Monitor customer payments, follow up as needed, and make in-person visits when necessary.

Update the accounts system to reflect receivables and payables accurately.

Prepare and distribute salaries efficiently.

Organize payments to suppliers and other entities.

Skills:

A minimum of 5 years of work experience as an accountant, with at least 3 years of this experience in Dubai

Bachelor's degree in accounting

Proficient in English

A valid UAE driving license is required - Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

Expertise in Zoho Books

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
