General Accountant

to join our team.

Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses using accounting software. Respond to landlords' requests, such as sending consolidated statements of accounts, net income reports, and payment requests for property-related expenses. Maintain accurate ledgers for the company's financial transactions. Perform regular reconciliations of bank and financial accounts. Manage vendor and customer invoices, ensuring timely payments. Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Help prepare and submit VAT returns. Check and process DTCM payments for tourism tax. Monitor and record company expenses. Assist with budget tracking and financial analysis. Enter and verify journal entries in the general ledger. Provide support during external audits. Handle daily transaction entries and ledger reconciliations. Perform cash counting and reconciliations. Assist with payroll and payment preparations. Carry out general accounting tasks as required.

Qualifications

Preferably Qualified or Finalist ACCA / CPA. 3 to 4 years of experience in a mid-senior accounting role within UAE-based companies.
