Job Description

cial Reporting :

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Review and ensure the proper classification of financial transactions and reports in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Analyze variances in financial results and provide insights to management.

General Ledger and Account Reconciliation :

Oversee the reconciliation of all general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

Review journal entries and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.

Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly in the general ledger.

Month-End/Year-End Close:

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.

Ensure that all journal entries and accruals are completed in a timely manner.

Coordinate with other departments to collect necessary information for the close process.

Audit and Compliance:

Assist in preparing for external and internal audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

Ensure that accounting practices comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.

Assist in the implementation of any new accounting policies or standards.

Tax Preparation:

Assist in the preparation and filing of local, state, and federal tax returns.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and identify potential areas for tax savings.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Participate in the development of financial forecasts and budget preparations.

Provide insight and financial analysis for budgeting decisions and future financial planning.

Process Improvement:

Identify and recommend improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.

Collaborate with team members to streamline financial workflows and enhance efficiency.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as Finance, Operations, and HR, to ensure accurate financial data flow.

Foster a collaborative work environment and provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:

General Accounting: 4 years (Required) Finance: 2 years (Required) Retail: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:

* Chartered Accountant (Required)
