Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant specializing in VAT and corporate accounts to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing VAT filings, corporate financial statements, and compliance with local tax regulations. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and supporting the organization's overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee corporate accounts, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow management.
• Conduct reconciliations of VAT accounts and corporate financial records.
• Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping of transactions and journal entries.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve financial or tax-related issues.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial reporting is accurate and submitted on time.
• Stay updated on changes in VAT legislation and corporate accounting standards.
• Provide financial insights and support to other departments as needed.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in VAT and corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, corporate financial statements, and tax compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

• A minimum of Bachelor of Economics or Accounting.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
