Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for a

General Accountant

to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

What you will be doing:

Manage transactions; Manage compliance with all tax and financial requirements of Dubai and the UAE; Prepare budget forecasts; Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings; Reconcile accounts payable and receivable; Ensure timely bank payments; Payroll processing and payments; Compute taxes and prepare tax returns; Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements; Report on the company's financial health and liquidity; Support Audit financial transactions and documents; Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary; Comply with financial policies and regulations; Handle day-to-day accounting activity, both receivable and payable, to maintain financial accuracy; Prepare statements and follow up payment; Prepare & submit quarterly VAT returns for Company; Process Payroll & WPS for employees; Handle cash/petty cash balance; Execute & complete the tasks assigned by Managers & seniors.

What we are expecting from you:

Min. 3-5 years of relevant experience in UAE in construction or real estate industries; Fluent in English; Must be available in UAE; Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
