General Accountant - Siddiq Gifts

Location: Musaffah, Abu Dhabi
Full-Time | Salary: 2,500 - 3,800 AED

About Us

Siddiq Gifts is a growing retail business in the UAE, and we are looking for an experienced General Accountant to manage financial records, handle bookkeeping, and ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and transactions .
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations .
• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets .
• Process VAT filings and ensure tax compliance .
• Manage payroll processing and employee salary payments .
• Track expenses, cash flow, and budget reports .
• Work with auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting (retail or trading industry preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP) .
• Strong knowledge of VAT, financial reporting, and bookkeeping .
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus) .
