The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and conducting accounting activities for our FMCG industry company. Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department - Prepare financial statements and reports for management, shareholders, and external stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards. - Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement. - Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.



Requirements

Educational Background: Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum two years of UAE experience. - Freshers can also apply with having a good financial knowledge - Experience with ERP Systems: Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Key Skills Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards. - Proficiency in financial statement preparation and analysis. - Expertise in general ledger functions, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. - Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. - Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software. - Attention to Detail: Precision in financial reporting and compliance. Personal Attributes: - Integrity: Strong ethical standards and honesty in financial reporting. - Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve accounting discrepancies and handle financial issues. - Time Management: Effective at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. - Communication Skills: Clear and concise in both written and verbal communication, able to explain complex financial information to non-accountants.
