Job Title: General Accountant

Location: Al Mafraq Industrail Area

Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our company. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting, monitoring variances and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a General Accountant, Staff Accountant, or similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to handle complex financial data.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
