ROLE SUMMARY
Assists with processing, submission, follow-up of bid quotations. Performs analyses to validate rebate claims. Assists with analysis of pricing strategies to support development of overall pricing/contracting policies.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do
Assists in development of contracts, implementing pricing strategies and rebate programs
Analyzes contract sales at product level and reports trends.
Serves as initial contact regarding notification of disputes and requests for additional information.
Assists with analysis of pricing strategies to support the development of pricing policies and innovative contracting schemes.
Assists in development, programming and operation of new database systems to support sales and marketing strategies for new managed care markets.
Initiate and lead the Price certificate issuance when required for regulatory submissions.
To manage and execute in an appropriate way the development of strategies and price controls for AstraZeneca products and line extensions, demonstrating a high level of interaction with internal stakeholders (Market Access, Business Unit, Finance, Medical Area, Regulatory, Region and Global), aiming at compliance with the established price guidance.
Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
Working close with Global and Regional Pricing & Access organization to leverage other countries market access & pricing experiences as well as adapting tactics to local brands where possible.
Coordinates cross-functional teams on specific pricing and reimbursement projects; actively seeks and share best practices.
Consolidate the pricing and commercial information into our global database.
Ensure that the finance department get the right information to insert calculated the rebates/ discounts into out reported figures.
Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
Perform partnering with buyers, product managers and sales department to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market.
Ensure all pricing & reimbursement submission and activities occur within defined timeframes to achieve the earliest possible Pricing &Reimbursement listings, with the broadest possible access at the highest possible prices.
Managing and preparing pricing appeals by aligning with all stakeholders (Market Access, Business Unit, Finance, Medical Area, Regulatory, Region and Global), aiming at compliance with the established internal price guidance.
High level Excel skills and the ability to work competently with internal pricing systems.
Key participation in Commercial Analytics and Extended management meetings and driving initiatives.
Use strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyse Pharma pricing-related data
Essential for the role
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Science, Economics Finance or, Pharmacy)
Strong analytical skills
Strong project, time management and organizational skills
Fluency in English required
Desirable for the role
Advanced degree
Working knowledge of Pricing Strategy and Managed Care impact
Financial modelling and/or analytics
Familiarity with operating in Global business
Having pharmacoeconomic background
