Garment Samplist

Job Description
We are seeking for an experienced Garment samplist for Abaya to join our team Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Design and Production teams to create samples for new collections
- Conduct quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to design specifications
- Sew, cut, and finish garments for sampling purposes
- Make pattern alterations and adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with designers to understand the creative vision and technical requirements
- Record and track sample progress, issues, and changes
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that materials are available for sample production
- Minimum of 5 years\' experience in garment sampling or a similar role
- Strong sewing skills and knowledge of different fabrics and materials
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience with pattern making is a plus
- Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret design sketches
- Excellent communication skills
- Ajman: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
