Job Summary:

You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a vehicle repair and maintenance garage. Your role will involve managing staff, ensuring quality customer service, maintaining inventory, and overseeing the repair and servicing of vehicles. You will be expected to improve operational efficiency, maintain high safety standards, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations Management:

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the garage, ensuring the efficient workflow of repairs and services.

Assign tasks to mechanics and technicians based on their expertise and job requirements.

Ensure all vehicles are serviced and repaired according to manufacturer standards.

2. Team Leadership:

Manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, providing direction and support.

Conduct performance reviews, provide training and development opportunities, and maintain a motivated workforce.

3. Customer Service:

Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Provide estimates for repair costs and ensure transparent communication with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.

4. Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage garage inventory, ensuring that necessary tools, parts, and supplies are always available. Work with suppliers to negotiate prices and manage stock levels efficiently.

5. Quality Control and Safety Compliance:

Implement and maintain safety protocols in the garage, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure repairs are done to the highest standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

6. Financial Management:

Assist in budgeting, expense tracking, and ensuring the garage remains profitable.

Monitor costs, minimize wastage, and suggest improvements to reduce overheads.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a vehicle repair garage or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in inventory management and financial budgeting.

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with automotive diagnostic tools and software.

Certification in automotive repair or management is a plus.

This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
