Job Description

A Garage Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the garage operates smoothly and efficiently. They also ensure that all work done in the garage is properly supervised. A Garage Supervisor typically has a college degree/diploma in Automobile engineering or a related field, as well as several years of experience working with mechanics and equipment.

Required Qualifications: -

• Should be knowledgeable in dealing with all Brands especially German, American & Chinese Cars. ( If not please don't apply)
• Person of good attitude & behaviour (Mandatory)
• Must have minimum three years of experience in a supervision field at a garage in UAE.
• Should have the capability to handle Assistant Supervisor, Mechanical team, Electrical team , Helper, etc. irrespective of any nationality.
• Valid UAE Driving License holder (Preferred)
• Self-driven & Focused
• Must be Knowledgeable in Transmission related works,
• Should be able to work under pressure.
• Should follow company policy & guidelines.
• Should assist mechanic and Electrical team in any form of work.

Responsibilities to undertake: -

• Make sure to put Job Cards for all vehicles coming in regardless of what work it is.
• Complete all checks as per the initial check list in Job Card
• Receive all cars & ensure all customer concerns are properly recorded.
• Vehicle inside & outside check.
• Note Technical team findings in Job Card.
• Assign mechanic to proceed with the work.
• Supervise the work schedule and inform duration of the work to the customer service team.
• Get a rough idea of the work to the senior staff from supervision team before starting the work. (If not sure)
• Assess the work done by the team and rectify any mistakes (if any)
• Further to diagnosis identify the parts that needs to be procured for the job and ask for supplier quote.
• Ensure work quality is maintained - Coordinate with Mechanic & Electrical Team.
• After successful completion of the work, do a test drive (IF NEEDED)
• Mention in JC what exactly you had done on the particular car.
• Handover job card to Accounts after success full completion.
• Make sure car is in perfect condition before delivering it to customer.
• Ensure garage premises are neat and tidy and also all garbage's stored in designated area
• Weekly update on the current car(s) status (Every Friday & Monday).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,600.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
