Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented •Furniture Upholsterer• to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholstering furniture items, including chairs, sofas, and other furnishings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and durability. This role involves working with fabrics, padding, springs, and frames to create comfortable and stylish furniture that meets customer specifications.

•Key Responsibilities: •

- Measure and cut fabric or leather to fit furniture dimensions.

- Attach and secure material to furniture frames using hand tools, staples, and adhesives.

- Replace old or worn upholstery, padding, or springs in furniture pieces.

- Examine furniture frames to ensure stability and correct flaws.

- Create custom designs based on client requests and specifications.

- Maintain and organize tools and materials.

- Collaborate with designers and furniture makers to achieve desired aesthetic and functional outcomes.

- Ensure the highest level of quality control and attention to detail.

•Requirements: •

- Proven experience as a furniture upholsterer or in a similar role.

- Ability to work with various materials such as fabric, leather, vinyl, and synthetic fibers.

- Skilled in using hand tools, industrial sewing machines, and staplers.

- Good understanding of furniture structures, including wood frames and springs.

- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design.

- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work on large furniture pieces.

- Problem-solving skills and creativity in restoring and designing furniture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
