Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Professional Carpenter to join our team at our furniture factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and furniture construction, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship. They will play a crucial role in producing high-quality furniture pieces, contributing to every stage of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

• Construct furniture pieces according to design specifications and quality standards, using a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Select and prepare materials, including wood, veneer, and hardware, for furniture construction.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wooden components to build furniture frames, using hand tools and power equipment.
• Apply finishes, such as stains, varnishes, and lacquers, to enhance the appearance and durability of furniture pieces.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Collaborate with designers, craftsmen, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of materials and tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role, preferably in a furniture manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in woodworking techniques, including joinery, framing, and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy wooden components.
• Upholding high standards of safety in the workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational training or certification in carpentry or a related field.
• Experience working with a variety of woodworking tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with different wood species and their characteristics.
• A passion for furniture design and woodworking craftsmanship.
