FINISHING CARPENTERS

We are seeking a

Highly Skilled Finishing Carpenter

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finish carpentry, with a strong eye for detail and precision. You will be responsible for completing high-quality woodworking projects, including trim, moldings, cabinetry, and custom wood installations, to meet the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Reading and Interpreting Blueprints:

Analyze blueprints and project plans to understand the design specifications.

Installation of Trim and Moldings:

Install baseboards, crown molding, doors, window casings, and other custom trims.

Custom Woodworking:

Build and install custom cabinetry, shelving, and furniture as per design specifications.

Surface Preparation:

Sand, stain, or finish wood surfaces to achieve the desired finish.

Repair Work:

Restore and repair wooden structures, furniture, and surfaces with precision and attention to detail.

Measurement and Cutting:

Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood materials to fit perfectly within spaces and design plans.

Collaborating with Other Trades:

Work closely with project managers, architects, and other trades to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Maintaining Tools and Equipment:

Ensure tools are in optimal condition for precision work and adhere to safety protocols.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect and ensure that all carpentry work meets company standards and client expectations.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience as a finishing carpenter. Expertise in reading blueprints and construction plans. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Strong knowledge of wood types, finishes, and carpentry techniques. Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and teamwork skills.
