Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and assemble custom furniture, including cabinets, tables, shelving units, and other bespoke pieces.
Measure and cut wood and other materials to precise specifications.
Ensure each piece is crafted with high attention to detail, ensuring functionality and durability.
Collaborate with clients to ensure furniture designs meet their needs and specifications.
Use carpentry tools (saws, drills, routers, etc.) safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Perform repairs or modifications to existing furniture as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in
furniture carpentry
.
Strong knowledge of furniture design, construction, and finishing.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Skilled in using carpentry tools and machinery.
High attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship.
