- Interpret and follow furniture design blueprints and specifications.
- Select appropriate materials, including wood, hardware, and finishes.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces to create furniture components.
- Utilize a variety of woodworking tools and machinery with precision and safety.
- Apply stains, paints, varnishes, or other finishes to enhance and protect furniture surfaces.
- Inspect finished furniture pieces to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the furniture making process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials.
