Job Title: Furnace Operator

Job Summary: The Furnace Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial furnaces used in the manufacturing or processing of materials. This role ensures that furnace operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Furnace Equipment:
• Start, monitor, and control furnace operations to achieve desired temperature and processing conditions.
• Adjust settings and controls as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
• Monitor and Maintain Furnace:
• Continuously monitor furnace gauges, temperatures, and other indicators.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on furnace equipment.
• Report any major equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensure Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Comply with environmental regulations and company policies related to furnace operations.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect and measure output to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Document production data, including temperature logs and processing times.
• Conduct quality checks and make adjustments to processes as needed.
