Our client is looking for a Fundraising & Communications Officer plays a vital part in coordinating and executing strategic communication efforts to support the university's fundraising and development initiatives.- Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive external communication strategy focused on donor and alumni engagement through various channels (digital, print, social media, events).- Brand Alignment: Ensure all communication efforts align with the universitys branding and strategic goals, positively presenting this University to external stakeholders.- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the universitys strategic communication unit to coordinate efforts and maximize messaging impact.- Multimedia Engagement: Lead and participate in multimedia fundraising events to increase donor engagement and support.- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with administration, academic units, and development officers to align fundraising efforts with the universitys priorities and ensure consistent communication.- Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights into donor preferences, market trends, and fundraising opportunities relevant to the university.- Donor Segmentation: Assist in donor segmentation strategies based on research to improve targeting and engagement.- Proposal Preparation: Support the development of fundraising proposals tailored to different campaigns and donor segments.- Administrative Support: Assist the Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as needed.RequirementsQualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in strategic communications, preferably within a higher education setting.- Languages: Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential, with a demonstrated ability to write professionally in both languages.Required Skills & Competencies:- Communication Expertise: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and internal university departments.- Strategic Mindset: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate and enhance fundraising initiatives.- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple communication campaigns and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.- Collaboration & Initiative: A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative in fast-paced environments.- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.- Digital & Multimedia Proficiency: Experience with multimedia content development and digital communication tools.- Fundraising Knowledge: Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices is an advantage.BenefitsAttractive Salary + Benefits.
