We are seeking a FULL TIME accountant in Ajman with experience in the building materials or retail industry and with till management experience. *Please read the below mentioned requirements clearly, before applying* The candidate MUST: \xe2\x81\xa0 - \xe2\x81\xa0Have sufficient experience in either building materials, retail, or supermarkets. \xe2\x81\xa0 - \xe2\x81\xa0Be experienced in inventory accounting and till management \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Be able to help management with establishing best accounting practices and policies \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Be well versed with VAT reporting practices in UAE \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Have excellent communication, team work skills \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Have experience in working with accounting software like: Zoho, Pact, Odoo Job description: \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Verification of daily purchase entries in system \xe2\x81\xa0 - \xe2\x81\xa0Keeping track of daily payments - cash and cheque \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Assist management in monitoring the till discrepancies \xe2\x81\xa0- \xe2\x81\xa0Monitor daily opening and closing balances \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0\xe2\x81\xa0- Bank reconciliation \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Maintenance of general ledgers \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Maintenance of credit customer records and collections without delays \xe2\x81\xa0 - \xe2\x81\xa0Undertake monthly payroll calculations \xe2\x81\xa0 - Generate all relevant reports on company\xe2\x80\x99s financial performance on a monthly or quarterly basis based on GAAP principles \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Assist with VAT calculations and filings \xe2\x81\xa0- \xe2\x81\xa0Assist with regular inventory control and management Other Requirements: \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Must be a graduate with a degree in Accounting and Finance \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Willing to work with a start up venture and assist in putting key accounting structures in place \xe2\x81\xa0- \xe2\x81\xa0Mult-lingual \xe2\x80\x93 Hindi, Urdu, English, Arabic (English and Hindi are a MUST ; Basic Arabic is preferred too) \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Tech Savvy \xe2\x80\x93 must have experience in working with accounting software like: Zoho, Pact, Odoo; and other basic software like - MS Office, Google Suite \xe2\x81\xa0 \xe2\x81\xa0- Quick learner, positive attitude, team player, good communication skills Location - Rashidiya 2, Ajman Salary - AED 1000 during probation period of 6 months, and after probation AED 2000 based on performance Hours - 9am - 6pm ; Monday - Saturday Visa and transport - Must be on own visa and accommodation.
