Roles and Responsibilities:

• Experience with the core AWS web services, plus the specifics mentioned in this job description
• Develop and maintain server-side functionality, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to enhance application functionality
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug distributed systems
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications
• Create and manage database schemas
• Document your steps and procedures for seamless tracking and collaboration
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Be good at communicating with our team on calls
• Ability to work fast and be flexible
• Possess a deep knowledge of AWS and 3rd party frameworks
• Ability to develop systems that are responsive and compatible with Mac, Windows, Linux, devices (IOS, Android and others), and others

Qualifications

• 3+ experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
• 3+ years of experience developing distributed systems using AWS
• Proficiency in Adobe XD software
• Must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment required
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as C#, Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and Node.js
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
