FSU Conversion EngineerPosition to report: FSU Conversion Manager
Duration: 2.5 yearsRESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere company safety policy and actively participate in creating safe working environment at all time
• To undertake Jobs assigned by the FSU conversion manager
• Review and comment FSU conversion basic engineering documents
• Prepare Work orders for Yard and involved in technical review of Yards proposals
• Prepare Lay-up plan and equipment preservation plan during conversion
• Populate new CMMS to be installed on board FSU (for existing equipment and new equipment, as per manufacturers' recommended maintenance)
• Review and update Cargo and Machinery manuals
• Issue Standard Operating Procedures as per new operations philosophy of the FSU

Minimum Competences Required

• Familiar with applicable regulations, codes of practice and standards in the context of marine and offshore oil and gas industry.
• Working knowledge in reviewing / writing procedures.
• Understand P&IDs and engineering documents.
• Understand HAZID/HAZOP/ALARP procedures and able to follow and close actions.
• Experience in the field of Marine and Offshore activities with regards to Construction/ Commissioning and Operations

REQUIREMENTS

• STCW Engine/ Deck officer training
• Minimum 2 years' experience as Engineer/ Deck officer
• Experience in ship conversion or FLNG/FSRU newbuilding is advantage
• Must have hands-on experience with operation and commissioning of machinery systems.
• Must have hands-on experience with STS operations
• A good knowledge of all appropriate engineering systems
• A good knowledge of safety and emergency systems and equipment on-board
• High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
