To manage all aspects of the Front Office department including but not limited to operations, planning, budgeting, staffing and payroll in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure that Team Members are prepared and well-informed to deliver an exceptional experience to Guests from check-in through check-out.
Supervise the Front Office team to ensure optimum occupancy and average room rate for the purpose of maximizing revenue
Undertakes full responsibility for managing operating expenses and purchasing for the department.
Inspects frequently for cleanliness of the lobby, reception, and cashiers desk and on a random basis VIP room prior to arrival.
Effectively manage all communication between the reservation team, front office and operations teams.
Ensure that all incoming and outgoing room and F&B booking/reservation requests are attended and handled as per the entity standards and procedures.
Handles guest complaints and disputes following the instant pacification procedures.
Monitor all Central Reservations Agents telephone manner
Develops, implements and maintains a departmental orientation program for colleagues to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
Additional Information
(1) years minimum experience in a similar role in four- or five-star hotel
UAE/GCC local market experience
