Responsibilities
• Proficiently handle all front desk tasks using the Opera system , including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
• Ensure seamless management of reservations and revenue through effective updates in the system and adherence to pricing strategies.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, ensuring all needs are met with a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Provide multilingual assistance, with Arabic proficiency being mandatory, to cater to a diverse guest base.
• Maintain a well-organized and presentable front desk, ensuring all materials are readily available for smooth operations.
• Monitor and manage bookings to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally, ensuring prompt follow-ups and accurate record-keeping.
• Address ad hoc guest service requirements, including housekeeping requests, travel arrangements, and special accommodations.
• Perform basic revenue management tasks to optimize income and maintain system accuracy.
• Oversee inventory, office supplies, and the operational budget for the front desk.
• Support the coordination of maintenance and operational requests with other departments.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as required to ensure efficient front office operations , including managing daily reports and operational audits.
Requirements and Skills
• Proficiency in Arabic and English (both oral and written) is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a front desk agent or similar role, ideally in holiday homes or the hospitality sector.
• Advanced knowledge of the Opera system with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Strong multitasking abilities, with the flexibility to manage diverse guest service needs effectively.
• Familiarity with basic revenue management practices and front office operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) for operational reporting and correspondence.
• Problem-solving capabilities, ensuring smooth resolution of guest concerns.
• A High School diploma is required; additional certifications or degrees in hospitality are advantageous.
