Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Check-in and Check-out:
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
• Verify reservation details and check guests in efficiently.
• Provide guests with room keys and relevant information (e.g., hotel amenities, directions, etc.).
• Process guest check-out by ensuring all charges are correct and providing invoices.
• Guest Services:
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Address guest complaints and work toward resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with special requests, such as booking tours, arranging transportation, or providing local information.
• Reservations and Room Management:
• Manage room reservations through phone calls, emails, and online booking platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability, occupancy, and room assignments.
• Ensure guest preferences (e.g., bed type, special accommodations) are met.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate guest information in the hotel management system.
• Update room status and inventory.
• Prepare reports related to guest arrivals, departures, and billing.
• Assist in handling billing inquiries and process payments (cash, credit card, etc.).
• Communication and Coordination:
• Communicate guest requests or issues to other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) as needed.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
• Keep management informed of any guest issues, incidents, or feedback.
• Security and Safety:
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property.
• Follow all safety procedures for emergencies (e.g., fire evacuations, medical assistance).
• Monitor the front entrance and lobby to ensure security protocols are followed.
• Upselling and Promotions:
• Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, such as spa services, dining options, or room upgrades.
• Upsell rooms, packages, or special offers when possible.
• Cash Handling:
• Handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of cash drawer.
