Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-shipment surveys to assess client\'s goods and determine the most efficient and cost-effective shipping method.
- Calculate shipping costs based on weight, dimensions, destination, and other relevant factors.
- Prepare detailed and competitive quotes for freight forwarding and relocation services.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current freight rates and market trends.
- Possess a knowledge of Dubai customs clearance procedures and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and answer their questions.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding or relocation industry.
- Experience in conducting pre-shipment surveys and preparing quotes.
- Strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Surveyor/Pricing: 1 year (Required)
- Dubai (Preferred)
