Freelance Bookkeeper

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Freelance Bookkeeper with strong proficiency in QuickBooks to manage the financial records of our organization. This role requires part-time commitment, with office visits 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
• Collaborate with the team during office visits to address queries and provide updates.
• Provide recommendations for financial process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a freelance or part-time capacity.
• Expertise in QuickBooks Online/Desktop is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial data.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Flexible schedule with the availability to visit the office 2-3 days per week.
