With a breadth of experience across an extensive range of sectors, Hogarth offers the unrivaled ability to deliver relevant, engaging, and measurable content across all channels and media - both established and emerging.The number of channels at our fingertips; the need for speed; and the drive for mass personalisation, all mean that brands need different solutions.Our global team of over 7,500 craft and technology experts brings together creative, production and innovation to help clients navigate this exciting and ever-changing world of today's content experience.The Creative (Copy) Director will be responsible for writing headlines in Arabic and validating translated copy for our client's marketing materials, across web, in-store, direct mail and other channels.The ideal candidate should posses the ability to craft clear, persuasive, simple and compelling copy while managing a variety of projects.This involves supervising (and reworking) the adaptation of copy originally written in U.S. English, and working with translators and editors to deliver the best possible content for this high-profile global brand.This is a freelance, project based position.Key Responsibilities
Write, review, and elevate campaign copy for the client's brand and products (tech field)
Maintain the brand tone of voice in your native language. The tone should be consistent, regardless of media format
Writing headlines that are clear, attractive, and catchy
Validating short/long copy projects across different functions
Maintaining the brand tone of voice and cultural relevance
Ensuring messages are clear, following the English master copy and communicating its strategic point
Collaborating with Creative Directors and Editors to deliver high quality work
Taking full responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work
Reporting to Hogarth Lead CD
Guide and maintain the quality of the translated long copy, wherever it appears
Validate TV, print and digital advertising created by our advertising agency and help steer the team in decisions made on behalf of the client.
Requirements
Creative thinker and skilled Creative Director/Copywriter with a thorough understanding of tone/brand voice
A skilled wordsmith with a creative flair
A minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior creative role, for example:
Experience gained in the best agencies
Working as a copywriter and then copy-based Creative Director for several years
Worked on international and local brands
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in your language and fluency in English
Understanding of language subtleties (especially when it comes to adapting creative)
Conceptual creative who can come up with big ideas (when needed), but also focus on the smallest details, like punctuation
Passionate about excellent writing that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear and inspiring
Team player - easy to get along with and able to work closely with Editors and wider production teams
Great technical literacy and comfortable working with digital teams
