:Hiring for a large crypto-currency company in Abu Dhabi. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning that encompass the unique aspects of cryptocurrency operations and revenue streams.
Analyze current and past financial data and performance to provide strategic recommendations on financial planning, investment priorities, and operational efficiency, specific to the crypto market.
Prepare financial reports that include detailed analysis on the volatility of crypto assets, the market trends, and the regulatory environment.
Work closely with senior management to develop and refine financial strategies that align with the company's goals within the crypto industry.
Monitor and analyze the company's financial performance against plans and budgets, providing insights and reporting on variances and their implications on cryptocurrency holdings and transactions.
Support the management team with data-driven analysis and reports for decision-making purposes, particularly for new crypto products, services, new market opportunities, or potential partnerships.
Collaborate with the accounting and compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with the evolving accounting practices and regulations in the cryptocurrency space.
Oversee the creation and presentation of key financial metrics, dashboards, and analytical reports for internal stakeholders.
Engage with cross-functional teams on projects to evaluate the financial feasibility and profitability of various initiatives.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology developments, and competitive analysis.
Provide guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement strategies.
Liaise with external stakeholders, such as investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, presenting financial findings and projections as required.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional finance qualification (CFA, CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
Minimum 8+ years of experience, with atleast 4+ years of experience in the related field.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the crypto industry or a related financial services sector with a focus on emerging technologies.
Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, digital assets accounting standards, and their impact on financial planning.
Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis with advanced Excel skills. Experience with financial planning software and familiarity with blockchain analytics tools is advantageous.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to translate complex financial information into clear and coherent reports suited to a variety of audiences, including non-financial stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial data effectively to management and external partners.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment and adaptable to the unique challenges that the crypto industry presents.
