Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to operate within our busy warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving and organizing materials, including timber, metal, and other components used in joinery and fitout work. This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to work in a team to ensure smooth and safe workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and products safely within the warehouse and across the site.
• Ensure materials and products are stored correctly to prevent damage and optimize space.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and keeping accurate records of material movements.
• Support the team with the safe handling and transportation of heavy or delicate items, including timber, cabinetry, and other fitout materials.
• Maintain the forklift and other equipment, ensuring they are in good working order, and report any malfunctions.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in preparing materials for delivery to clients or worksites, ensuring that all items are accurately loaded and secured for transport.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required, such as cleaning and organizing workspaces.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid forklift driver's license and proven experience in operating forklifts (required).
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, ideally within the joinery, construction, or fitout industry.
• Strong understanding of safe forklift operation and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, sometimes in tight or challenging spaces.
• Good organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of joinery materials and processes is a plus, but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,400.00 per month
