Job Summary

The ideal applicant will be in charge of leading and coordinating the team leaders, welders, and fabricators in the metal department. Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Explain technical details to fabricator/welder team leader
• Planning and preparing work schedules for the projects
• Forecast the project's duration and meet the deadline
• Follow up on technical fabrications
• Effectively lead and manage the team
• Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines
• Participate in design/Qc inspections on assembled units to ensure compliance and accuracy of final design
• Double-check design specifications before commencing with cutting work
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedure
• Performing quality checks on completed products

Job Skills and Qualification

• Working knowledge of the strength of materials
• Must have team-leading skills
• The ideal candidate should be punctual and attentive
• Fit-out / Metal industry experience is a MUST
• Can provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.
• Architectural Metal Products
• Preferably ITI with working knowledge
• Able to understand Auto CAD Drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Experience:

• Foreman Welding: 4 years (Required)
• TIG Welding: 5 years (Required)
